Vineyard and Cellar

On our estate in Terricciola we cultivate with dedication 2 hectares of Sangiovese and 0.5 hectares of Merlot. Our vineyards are high intensity with 9000 vines per hectare. We adopt the Tuscan inverted system (Guyot) and carefully prune our vines to encourage good plant growth.

Every day we work between the rows, where we have minimized mechanization.

We harvest exclusively by hand and carefully select only the best bunches, which we pick in 17 kg crates so as not to cause the berries to break.

Our Sangiovese is both revolutionary and old-fashioned. We have chosen to break the mold and not follow the wood fashion, favoring concrete vinification to preserve the authenticity of the grape variety. For aging, we use barriques up to the fourth passage, so that the hints of wood do not overpower the aromatic profile of the wine, just as it used to be!

Our Labels

Each member of our family is represented in our bottles, bringing their own character and disposition.

The labels of L’Iroso and Il Presuntuoso are inspired by a series of portraits entitled “The Alienated” by French painter Jean-Louis André Théodore Géricault. These two wines echo the “assertive” (to say the least) character of the father.

L’Eternamente is dedicated to the strong bond of the three sisters, Giorgia, Alice and Olivia, while La Santa is for the one who endures all, namely our mother!
