The name comes from the shared tattoo that the 3 sisters, Giorgia, Alice and Olivia, have in common: an upside-down “e” that becomes a 3, a symbol of their bond. A small symbol to remind each other that although different, they are part of the same story. And basically it is the same principle that holds this wine together: 85% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot. Two different characters, deep understanding.

The grapes come from our vineyards in Terricciola, on clay soil with fossil residues. They ferment in concrete, then the Sangiovese stays there for 12 months, while the Merlot, on the other hand, ages in already used barriques, just enough time to give depth without covering up.

The result is a precise, lively red with notes of cherry, red fruits, spice and balsamic. It is not a wine for effect: it is a wine that gets known one sip at a time.
