We are in Terricciola, in the heart of the Chianti region of the Pisan hills. An area that is becoming the new frontier of wine in Tuscany. The best place to discover new wines of excellence.

Ours is a small winery. Small means that we make wine with extreme care. A wine that first has to please us. We did not follow fashions, we followed the territory (terroir) that hosts our vineyards.
That’s why, by visiting L’Agona, you’ll get to truly taste and experience a different kind of wine. Take L’Iroso for example. A pure Merlot that never tires the palate and makes every sip call for the next.
Or Il Presuntuoso, a pure Sangiovese that moves you — especially when compared to most Chianti wines on the market today. We decided to call the way we make it “Sangiovero”. Because ours is a pure Sangiovese, crafted to respect the very essence of the vine. A wine with an unmatched drinkability. You need to taste it. Then tell your friends about it.

How much does the tasting cost?
25€ per person. The price includes a visit to the vineyard and winery, tasting of our 4 top labels, bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil and three types of local bread.
What days and times can I come?
Monday through Friday: 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
If you need another time, write to us-we always try to meet our guests’ needs.
What happens if it rains?
The tasting is the same, but indoors. We will welcome you in our cellar, among vats and barrels.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, pets are welcome. We have space, greenery and bowls ready.
Can children participate?
Of course. Children can participate and will NOT pay anything. We only ask that you notify us in advance so that we can prepare juices or soft drinks for them.
How can I pay?
As you prefer: in advance or directly in the cellar. We accept cash, cards, ATM, PayPal and wire transfer.
Is there parking?
Yes, free of charge, in the square right in front of our winery.
